On the afternoon of February 22, Dr. Chen Tianyang returned to our group to visit the teachers and students. Dr. Chen was an undergraduate student of the class of 2017 under the guidance of Prof. Xi and Prof. Zhang. After graduation, he went to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for doctoral study, under the guidance of Prof. Mircea Dinc, and his research direction was the application of conductive metal-organic framework materials and conjugated organic/hybrid materials in the field of energy. After his PhD graduation in 2023, he went to the Department of Chemical Engineering of Stanford University to conduct postdoctoral research under the guidance of Prof. Zhenan Bao, and the research direction is to develop a new polymer protective layer of lithium metal negative electrode. During this visit to the group, Dr. Chen reported his work during the doctoral period to the teachers and students, and shared and exchanged scientific research experience with everyone. After the report, Dr. Chen, under the guidance of Prof. Zhang, and the members of the research office visited the equipment of the research office, and took a photo with everyone!
